These continue to be more and more fun. The best part about doing illustrations of a real person is that it keeps you working with a set group of 'rules'. You know when you're getting away from who and what that specific person is/was. I like boundaries in art. I also think that it's important to try and capture the essence of the person more than a dead-on likeness. Next one up is Bowie during the Berlin years. Shakin' in my boots already....

This is the last of my Winter Soldier covers and probably the last non Rorschach job comic-wise for a while. Hoping to come back to covers with a fresh approach when the book is finished. Feeling the need to shake things up a bit, both technique wise and conceptually.
