These continue to be more and more fun. The best part about doing illustrations of a real person is that it keeps you working with a set group of 'rules'. You know when you're getting away from who and what that specific person is/was. I like boundaries in art. I also think that it's important to try and capture the essence of the person more than a dead-on likeness. Next one up is Bowie during the Berlin years. Shakin' in my boots already....
