The King Is Dead

  1. Hello Lee,

I am desperate to reach the professional, dramatic and inspirational level you bring to your art. Can I get some insight into your process please? Is your work all graphite, or are you applying a wash? Your sequential work, I get the impression that only some of the artwork is inked, some left in pencil, is that correct? I am serious and have been working hard on my own, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

  2. Hi Cesare. The work is done in 2 ways, depending on the piece and time: 1). pencil, ink, and graphite rendering with some ink wash, or 2). digital. The sequential stuff is always inked. I sometimes apply some pencil rendering and wash on top of the inks. Hope this info is of some use to you.
